Senior Business Manager, Strategic Growth Segments

This critical cross-functional role is responsible for developing strategies in support of Intuit’s hyper-focus on increasing overall customer retention and driving re-acquisition of strategic segments. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced, customer-obsessed strategist to translate customer insights into the development of break-through strategies and innovative customer experiences to deliver against aggressive goals in accelerating business growth.

  • Own the identification development of short- and long-term strategies for 1) increasing customer retention & loyalty and 2) driving the re-acquisition of strategic lapsed customer segments
  • Define critical aspects of retention and re-acquisition strategy - including value prop, positioning, customer segmentation strategy, customer life-cycle strategy, and offer strategy
  • Deeply understand customer needs & motivations, understand & analyze market opportunities, and design the innovation strategy & go-to-market strategy to unlock growth opportunities.
  • Develop and utilized customer segmentation to drive personalization across the end-to-customer experience
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, Analytics, Customer Success, and Finance teams to drive prioritization of strategic initiatives, influence product and marketing roadmaps, develop business cases, define learning agendas, and execute the delivery of the business.
  • Partner with the product, design, and customer success teams to deliver and A/B test new customer experiences and influence the product/service roadmap
  • Partner with CRM and digital marketing teams to translate strategy into innovative, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement aligned to business outcomes
  • Partner with Market Research and Data Modeling teams to identify & quantify customer needs, assess emerging trends, and generate actionable customer insights that motivate change in consumer perception and behavior change.
  • Analyze test data and business results to generate insights and make informed decisions that drive business results.
  • 7-10 year track record for developing winning customer-centric growth strategies and enabling excellent execution through cross-functional teams
  • Ability to set clear strategic direction and unlock business impact through principle-based decision-making
  • Exceptional strategic acumen, with an experience developing marketing and business strategy for consumer categories and transforming end-customer experiences
  • Track record for effectively translating strategy to the delivering of expected business outcomes across the short- and long-term
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with clear examples of using data to quantify and define customer insights and make recommendations
  • Strong research abilities with experience in consumer segmentation and using design thinking and testing to inform decision making.
  • Proven success in partnering, influencing, and collaborating internally and externally to establish shared passion and goals
  • Learning mindset, with a bias for constant rapid testing, experimentation and improvement
  • Customer-focused, with a passion for delighting and retaining customers
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • BA/BS required; MBA preferred or equivalent experience
