Join a winning team supporting Scripps Health as an EKG Tech within our Electrocardiology Department at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. You will partner with our tightknit team to conduct a variety of stress tests and provide the best patient care possible to make a positive impact every day.
The EKG Tech performs technical skills to accurately assess the status of each patient, including emergency procedures as appropriate. They educate patients and documents patient interactions, practice infection control, and contributes to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care.
This is a casual position with 8 hour shifts and is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- At least 6 months experience performing 12 lead EKG's
- At least 4 months experience performing Stress Testing
- Basic EKG or EMT training
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association
- National EKG certification
