APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Research, design, and develop computer software and specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Work across cross teams to provide software testing solutions that ensure quality from requirements definition through to delivery. Support and maintain infrastructure for software testing and validation. Work with senior engineers to build automation expertise and provide guidance to our development and test teams. Collaborate with software, integration and test teams. Design and implement new test automation. Perform requirements gathering and implement software to automate required configurations. Integrate new test automation within Apple's internal build tools and integrate reporting features to gain a better understanding of software health and status. Develop and implement testing software. Debug failures from various software components. Collect data from daily automation takes, raise bug reports, determine root cause of issue and develop software solutions. Build and maintain software continuous integration pipelines. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 - $204,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Experience with object-oriented programming language to support application testing and development
  • Performing root cause analysis and debug software issues to identify potential solutions and optimizations
  • Experience with utilizing and developing automation frameworks to support automated testing
  • Experience with Linux operating system
  • Mac OS X Fundamentals, understanding the operating system
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology
  • Experience with maintaining continuous integration pipelines
  • Experience with building queries to access data from database systems
