AVP, Product Owner – Omni Communication Channels  

Job Overview

LPL Financial is seeking a Product Owner, Assistant Vice President, Omni Channel Voice and Chat within LPL’s Investor and Investment Solutions group, one of the most visible departments in our organization. As a trusted business partner, you will drive outcomes, lead cross-functional teams, drive strategy and contribute to the deep and thoughtful analysis that enables our leadership team.

This role will embrace strategic, entrepreneurial, analytical, product, and project management skillsets to support our growth and positioning across the entire wealth management market as LPL continues to expand.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Product Vision and Strategic Roadmap
  • Create Features, Epics and Stories in the Jira backlog that support the Product Vision and Roadmap
  • Partner with Product Manager on any Discovery needed for Features/Stories in the Backlog
  • Decompose Features and create User Stories, Task, Bugs and Spikes
  • Facilitate cross-functional sessions to refine, manage and prioritize the team’s Backlog
  • Facilitate cross-functional sessions to refine, manage and prioritize 3rd party vendors’ backlogs
  • Manage Jira Backlog health and data quality
  • Plan and facilitate PI Planning agile team-level events
  • Lead (or participate in) all agile ceremonies and represent Product interests
  • Manage completion of deliverables that are dependent on other teams
  • Facilitate product demonstrations as work is delivered
  • Partner with Quality Engineering on test case design
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and defect resolution
  • Compare delivered features to acceptance criteria to determine if they meet the definition of done or require additional work
  • Participate in release events and support team with production validation and defect resolution
  • Provide production support for escalated issues from advisors or LPL Home Office Employees
  • Produce SDLC documentation

Ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner using Agile methodology. They are fluent in the role/responsibilities of a Product Owner and understand how it complements the role of the Product Manager and Product Management framework. They are confident working with 3rd party vendors as well as internal teams. They are highly organized and proficient with critical tools like Jira and Confluence to manage Product delivery. They are experienced leading cross-functional teams thru Product ceremonies and ad-hoc working sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5-7 years of product owner experience or relevant business work experience, ideally scaled agile.

Preferences

  • Experience working with call center software
  • Experience in the telephony and call center sector with a proven track record of deploying customer centric initiatives to drive improvement.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team and drive outcomes without having direct authority.
  • Experience managing 3rd party solutions and relationships
  • Experience in financial services or related FinTech firm.

Pay Range:

$106,088-$176,813/year


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
