Apple is looking for design engineering professionals with strong leadership ability to ensure that our Analog/Mixed signal IPs for SoC’s meet the quality and schedule requirements for Apple products. You will be responsible for multi-functional handshake and representation for the teams involved in Apple IP development and SoC Integration. You will demonstrate your experience in IC design and Technology development. You will be working with some of the brightest and most dedicated people in the field and will be contributing to exciting new products that will touch the lives of millions and enrich your career with invaluable experience.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience building Analog and Mixed-signal IPs like High-Speed Data Convertors, Clock and Reference Circuits, Digital Design for large SOCs, RF circuits
  • Experience with SOC Flows, IP integration and Post Silicon Validation
  • Knowledge and/or experience in wireless standards (i.e. LTE/WiFi/5G/mmWave)
  • Understanding and/or experience with SerDes (PCIe, MIPI-PHY, CIO, USB) and memory interfaces (DDR) is desirable
  • Self-starter who can own/drive project development using well defined metrics
  • Strong teammate and creative problem solver who is able to lead technical teams, multi-functional groups and vendors against plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of IP development process, tools/flows, and methodologies and life cycle in an SoC
  • Ability to look ahead of programs/schedule, set and steer course accordingly

Description

- Work closely with SoC Integration teams to drive high-level achievements for IP development. - Proactively drive technical work with Apple SoC teams to supervise and resolve issues - Pull together regular project status presentations for executive leadership review - Drive resolution of technical issues between multifunctional teams: Technology/Library, SoC design, SoC PD, SoC DV and CAD teams. - Distill large amounts of data into a clear story to communicate to partners and organizations at all levels - Assess risks, develop mitigation strategies and facilitate conflict resolution - Collaborate with software/hardware teams to lead silicon validation of IPs

Education & Experience

BS + 10 years of relevant experience

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $152,400.00 and $268,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
