This programming position is within our Core Director Implementations group. This position is a part of a conversion team responsible for the onboarding of newly converting Financial Institutions (FI) as well as working with existing FI’s who are acquiring other FI’s. This programming position works directly with a team of Application Analysts to translate/convert the FI’s current system data into the data formats and fields of Core Director. This includes developing the data conversion code within a provided framework, assisting the Analysts with data review and validations, debugging issues or problems that may arise and providing resolution to those issues or problems.
This position will be a hybrid role working 3 days per week out of our Springfield, MO office.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Develops programming code for new and/or existing banks data conversions.
- Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.
- Tests code and fixes to ensure quality data conversions.
- Develops conversion and system implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.
- Provides programming support to data/application conversion analysts.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in programming or software development from either a professional or educational background.
- Must have the ability to work after hours and on weekends for conversion projects.
What would be nice for you to have:
- Experience in legacy computer languages, such as COBOL or Basic.
- Has a wide range of experience and able to resolve complex issues. Works on complex and diverse projects. Analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises good judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions.

- Able to lead complex projects.
