This is a full time, benefited position, generally working Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4pm one week, then 8:30am-5pm the next. Shifts may run later if provider is running behind. Located at Scripps Clinic - Torrey Pines in La Jolla and may be required to commute to other sites as needed.

As a Clinic - RN in the Urology Department you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
  • Providing direct patient care within the scope of practice -- this includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures and messages, emergency protocols, and medication administration.
  • Working collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Handing patient communication, including making calls to provide information, follow up on care, responding to messages, and triaging.
  • Maintaining sterility during procedures and adhere to infection control protocols.
