Sound good? (We think so, too!) Here’s what you would do:

• Facilitate Studio open hours
• Teach youth robotics and digital media courses at YMCA facility or off site locations
• Assist with Next Gen Institute program
• Curriculum development with studio equipment and applications
• Lead private lessons as needed
• Facilitate STEM and STEAM camp programs at YMCA facilities and school sites 
• Run day Digital Studio programming at the branch 
• Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and computer software update
  

“OK, I’m sold!” What do I need to qualify?

• Must be 21 years or older
• 1+ year's previous experience working with youth
• Previous experience in camp program development and planning instructional lessons preferred 
• Ability to read, write, and understand STEM curriculum
• Ability to facilitate and engage youth in activities such as Minecraft, Esports, Lego building and robotics  
• Proficient in all Adobe software including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and InDesign preferred
• Some experience with Audio Engineering software and hardware including Logic preferred
• Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation
• CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, obtained within 30 days of hire and must be from one of the following certifying organizations:
  • American Red Cross
  • American Heart Association
  • American Safety & Health Institute
