As a Staff Software Engineer (AWS), you will be a part of a highly dynamic and innovative development team working on the latest technologies in the exciting fast growing Digital Health space. You will be part of a full stack team of cloud (AWS) engineers and mobile (iOS and Android) and be responsible for delivering the best-in-class patient product experience, all built using the latest tech stacks of serverless on AWS. You will work closely with talented engineers, product managers, customers, architects, and various stakeholders to deliver our best-in-class applications.

Let's talk about the role

  • Responsible for developing our best-in-class AWS serverless applications
  • Lead technical design discussions that produces high-performance, highly scalable and resilient software components
  • Design and implement key elements of core infrastructure to support other delivery teams
  • Collaborate with other engineers and product owners to identify best in class software solutions to complex problems in our industry
  • Take a quality-first approach to software development by producing unit tests and automate functional testing as much as possible
  • Conduct code reviews with other developers, including security checks
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
  • Participate in technical interviews

Let's talk about you

  • You must be a seasoned AWS developer, with at least 8 years of cloud development experience
  • 4+ years hands on experience developing serverless apps for at least, including use of Lambda, DynamoDb, SNS, SQS. AppSync desirable.
  • Expert in Python
  • Experience designing and architecting Cloud applications and understand various design patterns
  • Experience with use of CI/CD and automated testing frameworks
  • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience operating large cloud systems at scale
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 5+ years of experience; or bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in design and development.
  • 3+ years of experience leading a software development team through multiple product/platform releases.
  • 8+ years of experience making significant individual contribution to real-world software development.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

This role is eligible to receive an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.

Base Pay Range for this position:

$162,000 - $242,000
