Job Overview:

LPL Financial technology team is looking for a dynamic leader that will drive operational excellence as the Technology Vendor Operations Manager. This role is responsible for leading a team that manages all net new and renewal software and hardware purchases and will provide strategic reporting that enable the technology leaders to make informed decisions when managing their product domains. This role will report to the Head of IT Vendor and Asset Management within the Technology Foundations and Growth organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Technology Vendor Management, Strategic Sourcing and FP&A to fulfill all software renewals six to twelve months prior to contract end date and aligned to the product domain and software/hardware rationalization programs.
  • Drive continuous optimization of software, hardware, and telecom asset inventory.
  • Develop reporting, routines, and key measures that communicate progress, risks, and issues to drive continuous learning and desired outcomes. Deliver results through repeatable, scalable processes.
  • Coach, mentor and lead a high-performing team with direct and indirect responsibility to deliver on objectives and provide extraordinary service to the Technology leaders.
  • Establish strong financial governorship driving transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience working with IT software and hardware contracts
  • 5+ years’ experience developing IT Governance programs, policies, and procedures
  • 5+ years’ experience with IT asset management
  • Experience with integrating with ServiceNow, Ariba, or Workday
  • Proven track record of managing 4-8 analysts

  • Strong operational experience in large complex environments.
  • Strategic leader who anticipates the future and inspires the team to deliver exceptional results within established timelines and budget.
  • Data-driven leader who establishes OKRs, KPIs, and transparent reporting to demonstrate progress.
  • Expert communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to create/present executive presentations and serve as one of the recognized subject matter experts on the team.
  • Flexibility and organizational change management experience
  • The ability to work in cross-functional team and drive outcomes without having direct authority.
  • Demonstrates a productive edge, willing to engage in conflict when necessary
  • Strong analytical and dispute-resolution skills to handle issues and drive winning outcomes.

Preferences:

  • Experience working with Ariba procurement software or other procurement software tools


 

Pay Range:

$141,240-$211,860/year


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
