Job Overview:

The Business Strategy & Growth (BS&G) organization at LPL is seeking a Vice President – Business Management to lead the business management support function for LPL’s Managing Director & Chief Growth Officer.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and drive all operational processes within BS&G
  • Serve as chief architect of and key point of contact on various cross-functional work (Human Capital, Finance, Real Estate, Conferences etc); advocate for BS&G, challenge the status quo and negotiate to find creative solutions to ensure best outcomes
  • Manage BS&G budget and execute actions to solve for budget opportunities and challenges
  • Partner with BS&G leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress against goals/OKRs
  • Manage Board of Directors reporting process and timeline management for all B&SG deliverables
  • Create documents, frameworks, and analysis (quantitative and qualitative) to help solution critical business issues
  • Drive alignment across BS&G by managing employee town halls and leadership meetings
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change within the current ecosystem
  • Serve as a strategic partner to BS&G leaders to manage their groups and drive key efforts
  • Serve as subject matter expert on Incentive Comp Plan design and primary leverage point on BS&G plan design and administration of plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven track record of coordinating large-scale efforts across multiple business units and interested parties
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of teams to manage initiatives and deliver results within tight timeframes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong quantitative and analytical skills; ability to convey complex issues in understandable forms to various audiences
  • Comfort level “wearing a lot of hats” and managing shifting priorities

Pay Range:

$140,120-$210,180/year


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
