The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the complete product lifecycle for new and existing products. The Product Marketing Manager will define products from existing ideas, feedback from customers and an understanding of the market. This person will need to understand challenges in the market and develop and test potential solutions turning them into innovative products that provide value to customers and meet the company’s overall strategy and goals. The Product Marketing Manager must be able to communicate well within a team environment and collaborate to find ways that most efficiently and effectively help the team to produce great products.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, including development of roadmap, pricing strategy, product positioning, etc
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and potential customers and developing a thorough understanding of the market’s competitive forces
  • Drive solutions across development teams through market requirements and positioning
  • Develop and implement a companywide go-to-market plan including marketing materials, training materials, and working with all departments to implement the plan
  • Analyze potential partner relationships and licensing opportunities for products
  • Drive user-centric design across all projects and platforms
  • Write effective user-centric use cases and effectively communicate them
  • Candidate will be a model corporate representative projecting positive aspect of our organization
  • Willing participant in team development and goals
  • Proactively identify and communicate areas of improvement within our organization
  • Ensures all department projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies and objectives
  • Implements and maintains department policies and standards
  • Other Duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work within and manage multidisciplinary product development teams with a track record of on-time and on-scope delivery
  • Able to multi-task, set project priorities, establish task focused goals and objectives for self and staff
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, suppliers and vendors
  • Ability to use a PC and PC-based tools for document preparation, engineering analysis and engineering design
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills; detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Strong ability to adapt to changing priorities, and work with a sense of urgency
